Engine 445

Engine 445 is our first out structure fire engine. It is the first out apparatus during inclimate weather for power lines and trees blocking roadways. It is second out on motor vehicle accidents and on brush, grass and wildland fires.

Engine 445 carries 1000 gallons of water with 5 preconnected attack lines and is capable of pumping 1500 gallons per minute. Engine 445 also has foam capabilities. Engine 445 also carries 6 air packs for firefighters and 4 extra bottles. Also carried is traffic control equipment, limited medical equipment and the firefighting accessories.

Engine 445 seats three firefighters and/or cadets and has room for one officer and one apparatus operator who also acts as the pump operator.
