2002 Ford
Rescue 443
is our primary response apparatus. It responds on all medical calls, and is the first piece of apparatus out the door on motor
vehicle accidents. Rescue 443 usually rolls out last on structure fires to provide medical stand-bye and firefighter rehabilitation.
Rescue 443 carries basic life support equipment along with extrication and traffic control tools for motor vehicle
accidents. Some special features include automatic tire chains, an on board generator, scene lighting kit, and a towing receiver
for hauling possible future acquisitions. Rescue 443 is not licensed to transport patients, but a patient care area is located
in the rear with heating, cooling and a fire radio.
Rescue 443 seats three firefighters and/or cadets, one officer
and one apparatus operator.
